Louisville Downtown Bike Racks

The Louisville Downtown Management District commissioned local artists to create one-of-a-kind bike rack sculptures or benches to be placed in the public right-of-way in various locations in downtown Louisville. In addition to serving as functioning bike racks, they provide original art for the enjoyment of the general public.

These are the bike racks in Louisville !?! I live in Nuneaton, England, and my local council can only stretch their imagination to concrete upside down pieces of ‘U’ shaped pipe here and there for such a purpose! I know which I prefer! Seriously impressive pictures, you sure do have a talent for this, you make me feel like wet-behind the ears amateur!

yeah its crazy, my city went through a remarkable change the last couple of years to be a bike friendly town.

Recently Louisville has been named the 2nd Most Improved city for bicycling in the United States by Bicycling Magazine.

I live in a city that know one talks about or vacations at, and it was recently voted the most livable city in the US… its pretty crazy.

we’re big on the art here.
