Schimpff’s Confectionery

Schimpff's Confectionery
Last night I went and took pictures of Lynn’s and then Schimpff’s Confectionery. I knew after the bad storms came through that the sunset would be dramatic, as thats when they are at their best after a hard rain and fierce wind. So i specifically went to Lynns to set up for the sunset. I took fab pictures and then fab pictures at Schimpff’s. When I returned home I realized that last time I took pictures it was for real estate bpo’s and my settings were on 600×800. Someone shoot me. I cant tell you how annoyed I was. So around 1am, I went back and took the pictures…
again, but the pictures for sure lost some of their pizazz.
So heres an inside outside look at Schimpff’s Confectionery

chimpff’s Confectionery is one of the oldest, continuously operated, family-owned candy businesses in the United States. It was opened in its present location in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr. and Jr.

When I went back that night, the red lights were off 😦

This looks so quaint! I can’t believe people do not visit Louisville for holidays / vacations, but then I’m bias, I’m a sucker for excellent constructed photography. Keep up the amazing work, you’ve got a huge fan here!
