Highway 89A never disappoints

I’ve experienced Highway 89A back in 2008 on a road trip with friends north of Page and thought it was the most beautiful road i had ever driven on. I even tried to move there until i realized you cant really buy land there at all. Anyway, I took Iz to Sedona and Jerome the other day and found myself on the same highway. It was literally like entering into a new planet or state every other stretch you drove on. Leaving Flagstaff you almost felt like you were in Washington State, then dropping down the mountain into a flat stretch reminiscent of the back-roads of Kentucky, coming out of the trees and streams into the dry desert air looking around at Planet Mars. It was one of the nicest drives I’ve been on for sure. Arizona sure is such a surprise sometimes.
