Google Reverse Image Search

The night before last I decided to do a reverse look up of some of my images i haven’t checked on in awhile. There are images that i have that people have taken them off my websites and manipulated them to their liking. Some have even cut out my copyright and added their own. Tumblr and Pinterest seem to be popular places for these images. I once had to sue a company for illegally using a photograph of mine but that’s as much as i can say as in order to get the money for the image i had to sign a disclosure that i will never mention it for the rest of my life.

So google reverse image search is my friend to say the least.

Never however have I came across someone using one of my photos to sell personalized items on Ebay. Just because you’re in the UK guy (mon memories) doesn’t mean I wont find out. As you all know I sell a meerkat chistmas card on zazzle.com and redbubble.com. I took this photo of these meerkats at the zoo, than added santa hats to them later.

This ebay user has decided to swipe my photo and use it to make money.

As of today.. 21 mugs have been sold.

And there is a pillow too.

So i contacted eBay and reported the seller two days ago, but I haven’t heard back yet.

Anyway the point of this is, if you’re a photographer and you have some popular images in your collection, just check on them from time to time.

Also, I dislike very much evil people.

A dry day in the forest

means mosquitos and flies. never again will i go to the Hoh Rainforest without it actually raining! 😀 I have more to upload from this summer day in July; I’ll get to it tomorrow !

Pictures lost on a faulty hard drive

I havent quite found these pictures yet on the externals and cds but hopefully i will come across them. It was another trip up to Hurricane Ridge a couple months ago. These I got off my facebook page!

First snow in the mountains

I’m going to have to get up there and see what it looks like. Today there was so much snow to look at!

Foggy Night on the hook

We were having a super foggy night and i decided to drive out to Ediz Hook to check out the scene. Basically you couldnt see two feet in front of you so it was a bit of a failed experiment. But did get one pretty picture from the venture.

Fall Foliage

I drove down Deer Park Road for the first time ever and ended up turning around at the park entrance. I got a few pretty shots of the fall foliage though on the way up. I will have to see if my tiny sports car can make it on the gravel road next time.. maybe.. Or I should get a ride in someone’s vehicle.

Hurricane Ridge Sunset

Drove up to Hurricane Ridge to get a picture of the super moon and instead ended up seeing a great sundown up there.

Oh and I did get 1 picture of the moon from the helipad at the hospital.

Hoh Rainforest

When i visited the Hoh Rainforest on my birthday this year it poured the whole time. and i mean POURED. I got one good shot from the day.. the rest of my pics look like that last one i posted 😀

Ediz Hook

I was waiting for a rainbow on Ediz Hook tonight but I apparently had just missed it. The sun went behind the clouds right when i turned onto the hook. Still got some good shots of Port Angeles though!

Spring is definitely here!

So excited to witness springtime again! I forgot there are 4 seasons in a year!

Right outside city limits

Right when you leave Port Angeles city limits traveling west there’s a small pull over to the right of Hwy 101 just before you get to the first Olympic National Park entrance. This scenic view spot is pretty amazing, I stop at it every-single-time I leave town.
